Government College of Engineering and Research, Awasari (kd) has Two Boys Hostels namely, "Matoshree Hostel - A" and "Matoshree Hostel - B" in college campus with intake of 360 students for all four years. The area of each hostel building is 3200 sq meter and having 4 floors, 48 rooms, 2 Recreation Hall, Waiting Area on each floor and a lot of space for study also . Ragging is strictly prohibited in Hostels.

1. Admission Process: -
   The hostel admissions are purely on merit basis and according to the reservation rules given by Government of Maharashtra and availability of seats in Hostel. The admission fees for one year per student is Rs. 550/- (Government Fee) and Rs. 600/- (Non Government Fee) excluding the mess charges.

4. Hostel Facilities: -
   
   • Mess: - Boys Hostel has one Mess which is compulsory for all boys staying in hostel.
     
   • Gym: - Also a well equipped Gym is available for all hostel Boys.
     
   • TV: - One LCD TV is available for all Boys in common room with DTH connection in each hostel.
     
   • Solar Water Heater: - Each hostel is equipped with solar water heater having capacity of 1000 liters per day.
     
   • Water Purifier and Cooler: - Water purifier and water cooler unit is provided on each floor for safe drinking water.
     
   • Furniture: - Rooms are four seated. For every student 1 cot, 1 chair, 1 table and a built-in cupboard is provided.
     
   • Newspaper: - Two English & two Marathi (Indian Express, Times of India, Maharashtra times & Sakal) newspapers are provided daily to update the General Knowledge of all Boys in hostel.   
     
   • Security: - Security Guards are stationed at hostel 24 X 7 Hrs.
     
   • Cleanliness: - Cleanliness is maintained by hired sweepers in hostels



5. Hostel Committee: -
   Entire hostel management is monitored by different students committees under the guidance of rector.
