Department Mission
M1 To impart application oriented education with creative thinking and human values.
M2 To develop Automotive Technological skills of the students for enhancing the employability and entrepreneurship.
M3 To prepare the students for higher studies, research and innovation.
M4 To develop the graduate engineers for continual learning to serve the society.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES:
PO1 Engineering Knowledge: An ability to solve the automobile engineering problems using basic knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering.
PO2 Problem Analysis: An ability to conduct investigation using designed experiments, analysis and interpretation of data to arrive at valid conclusion.
PO3 Design/ Development of Solution: An ability to understand the impact of design solutions for complex engineering problems and design of automobile component to meet global economic, environmental for sustainable development.
PO4 Conduct Investigations of complex problems: An ability to identify, demonstrate, evaluate, analyze and synthesize automobile engineering problems leading to group project and research work.
PO5 Modern Tool Usage: An ability to use the advanced techniques, skills and modern engineering tools for effective solutions for automobile problems. s

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
PEO 1 Be successful in career with a sound knowledge of basic fundamentals of mathematics, engineering sciences and engineering.
PEO 2 Develop the ability to solve real time engineering problems using core knowledge of automobile engineering.
PEO 3 Develop the inter-disciplinary skills and professional ethics to analyze and solve the engineering issues towards sustainable development.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSO)
PSO1 Excel in design/ development/ maintenance of components, product and automobile systems.
PSO2 Inculcate comprehensive education in automobile engineering to ensure core competency in working of automobile systems, Finite Element Analysis and manufacturing, servicing of automobile systems/components.
PSO3 Execute the professional, scientific and managerial skills to plan and execute automobile projects.
