About Workshop Department :
The Workshop Department is an integral part of the engineering institute, providing students with hands-on training in various engineering processes and techniques. It serves as a cornerstone for practical education, ensuring students develop the essential technical skills and practical knowledge required in their professional careers.

The Workshop Department aims to :

Key Features of the Workshop Department :
1. Workshop Facilities :
The department's infrastructure and equipment to cater to diverse engineering domains :
• CNC and Machine Shop: Equipped with high-precision CNC lathes, CNC lathe and CNC milling Simulator, milling machine, drilling machine, hydraulic power hacksaw, and shaper machines.
• Turning Shop: Centre lathe, Hydraulic power hack saw pedestal grinder and drilling machine.
• Fitting Shop: Tools and workbenches for fitting-related operations, drilling, pedestal grinding and surface plate.
• Welding Shop: TIG welding, MIG welding, resistance spot welding, oxy-acetylene and cutting setups andelectrode arc welding machine for metal fabrication.
• Carpentry Shop/Pattern making Shop:table and portable jig saw, multipurpose woodworking machine, band saw machine, woodworking lathe, geared drilling machine, tools and resources for woodworking and joinery projects.
• Tin Smithy Shop:Sheet shearing/cutting machine, anvils and relevant tools.
• Black Smithy Shop:Coal fire hearth with blower, swedge blocks, anvils and essential tools.
• Moulding Shop: Plastic injection moulding machine, casting clay graphite crucible, mould boxes, dedicated space for mould box and sand preparation/disposal, Facilities for sand moulding, metal casting and essential tools.
