Programme Educational Objectives (PEO): Within four years of graduation, the program expects that Civil Engineering graduates will
PEO1 Become competent professional to serve construction industry and apply their technical skills in infrastructural development and maintenance.
PEO2 Utilize their knowledge to analyze and design systems, to specify project methods and materials, to estimate and optimize project cost.
PEO3 Exhibit their communication skills including graphic mode when working as team member or leader.
PEO4 Engage in Research and Development through higher studies and by participating in conferences, workshops, seminars or continuing education programs.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES: A graduate should be able
PO1 To give solutions for Civil Engineering problems using knowledge of science and mathematics.
PO2 To design building structures, roads, sewage and water supply networks and other components of infrastructure systems considering safety, environmental and social aspects.
PO3 To use latest research technological tool and analyze data for complex problems.
PO4 To use project management and optimization techniques in finding solution and analysis of engineering problems.
PO5 To inculcate the knowledge regarding social, health, legal and cultural issues required for professional skills
PO6 To provide eco-friendly and sustainable infrastructure development.
PO7 To induce ethics and professionalism in career.
PO8 To exhibit leadership qualities while handling multi-disciplinary projects.
PO9 To prepare technical documentation and presentation for civil engineering projects.
