Significant achievement of our students

Our students, Kiran Johare, Pranay Burande  Roshan Pagar (SE Civil); Rahul Waghmare, Mangesh Adsule, Sandip Nakade (TE Civil); Sachin Kamble, Kirshna Repe, Mehububillal Patel (BE Civil)  have won winner prizes in various events of ABINITO-2014. In COMBAT 2014, Civil Engineering Department is winner of Kabbadi (Boys), Vollyball (Boys), Five Paases (Girl), and Badminton (Boys). Civil Engineering department have maintained first position for branch cultural event (“Kahani Kuch Filmi- A Bollywood Theme” in Resonance 2014) in annual function “Resonance.” Students Suchit Kolape, Kiran Johare, Dhiraj Nikam, Roshan Pagar, Siddhant Kale (SE Civil) ; Vedprakash Kanse, Shahid Chaudhari, Nikhil Dhadve (TE Civil); Santosh Nimbalkar, Swati Mahajan (BE Civil) have shown their achievement  in different individual as well as group events of Resonance 2014.

Apart from achievements in college events, our students have shown a significant achievement in inter-college events like Roshan Pagar and Siddhant Kale (SE Civil) winner of STREET PLAY at COEP, Pune, Sayali Bhadane and Snehal Gole (TE Civil) winner of technical paper presentation in JSPM, Pune. Moreover, Civil Engineering department is winner of General Trophy for a inter-college technical event INNOVISION-2014 at JSPM, Pune.

Significant contribution of our faculty towards research and development

Dr. P. B. Daigavane has participated as a resource person in various one-day workshop on “How to convert Research in to Patent” in WCE, Sangli (June 2013), SGGS Nanded (August 2013), Government Polytechnic, Nashik (September 2013). He also addressed a Key-Note lecture on “How to convert Research in to Patent” in International Conference held at College of Engineering, Buldana in December 2013.  

Dr. S. B. Kharmale has participated as resource person in Two-week FTP (June 2013) on “Recent Trends in Performance Based Design of Structures” in VJTI, Mumbai;  Two week FDP (June 2013) on ““Basic of Structural Dynamics and Seismic Designs” in Annasaheb Dange College of Engineering, Ashta, Sangli; Four-day workshop (July 2013) on, “Limit State Design of Steel Structures (LSDSS 2013” in MIT Aurangabad; Two Day National Workshop (February 2014) on “Recent Trends in Earthquake Engineering in Pravara Rural Engineering College, Loni, Ahemednagar; One-Week FDP (December 2013) on  “Scope of Finite Element Method in Civil Engineering in Sinhgad College of Engineering, Pune.

Dr. P. B. Daigavane and Dr. S. B. Kharmale have worked together as purchase committee member (DTE, Maharashtra)  for various civil engineering allied equipments and software; as inspection committee chairman/member of RO, Pune for inspection of private engineering college; as consultants to various civil engineering and applied mechanics work of government.
